Radhe Krishna Niwas is a homestay located at the foothills of the Aravali hills in Udaipur. It is run by Jairaj Soni, a renowned artist, and his wife, Sushma Soni, a well-known cooking teacher. The place is built on 10,000 square feet and designed by Jairaj Soni himself.

It is a beautiful amalgamation of the Indian and Georgian styles of architecture, allowing the perfect amount of light and breeze inside. It has spacious yet warm indoors and an outdoor terrace garden with a gazebo and fountain.

Relax and sip a cup of chai and enjoy the scenery and chirping birds. And end the day with the grounding ritualistic prayers at the mandir at home.

We reached Radhe Krishna Niwas at night and were lucky enough to spot a few deer on the road! The view in the morning was fantastic - mountains on all sides and trees everywhere (I’m sure the view will be even better in the monsoon season!). The hospitality was great; we felt like at home. And we were also greeted with a very friendly lab and a shy tortoise! For sure the best homestay in Udaipur.
